AN ECONOMICAL IMPRESSION METHOD PART 2: FOR SINGLE IMPLANT RESTORATION
katosika.dental
We approve the much using of silicone material in taking impression for single implant restoration until now. But we have been looking for any-what good method of economical. We would like to introduce a economical method to make single implant restoration using now. This is a key to use silicon putty around implant copings with little flow silicon material that is used at first to flow onto implant coping. This method allows to save your clinic total silicon cost and time.
1) Preparation of impression copings and per-apical radiographic check.
2) Disposable impression tray that has opened window on the implant abutments.
3) Silicon putty and Poly-venyl silicon material for injection.
The impression making starts from pouring PVS flow material onto implant abutment around and waiting until hardening. After the hardening, mixing of putty and puts the putty around the implant abutments and whole tray.
Radiographic examination for fitting check between coping and implant connection. |
Pouring PVS injection around the standing space of the coping and mucosa. After the hardening, going ahead next step. |
Lapping around the coping with the putty. Before the hardening, going ahead in a hurry. |
It should be performed at the same time to mix the putty on the tray. |
To my experiences, it seems to be no problem with putty only impression for the dentition. |
Angulated Screw Chanel (ASC) system and Omni-grip driver from Nobel Biocare. |
Single Implant Crown was placed by the omni-grip driver. |
Frontal view after the placement. |
Periapical radiographic view after the Procera zirconia crown with ASC system in place. |
If there are some under-cut in the dentition, putty only impression seems to be avoided because it may be difficult to make model stone and re-making working model on the impression
